Heritage Farm & Co. is a purpose-driven organic farm rooted in stewardship, education, and community wellbeing. Built on the belief that agriculture is more than production, the farm serves as a living ecosystem where land, learning, and legacy intersect. Through regenerative growing practices, intentional programming, and community partnerships, Heritage Farm & Co. cultivates both nourishment and opportunity.

Founded by Andrea Ross and Phyllis Henneman, the farm reflects a shared commitment to generational impact, holistic wellness, and sustainable growth.

Our soil tells a story.

Andrea Ross

Founder | Farmer | Veteran

Andrea Ross founded Heritage Farm & Co. with a clear vision: to build a farm that honors tradition while advancing innovation. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, and a proud military veteran, Andrea brings discipline, resilience, and long-term thinking to everything she builds.

With a background in environmental science, she leads the agricultural direction, brand development, and strategic growth of the farm. She studies Environmental Studies at the University of South Carolina and is a Sustainable Agriculture alum of Trident Technical College. Her education supports her systems-based approach, but the real work happens in the field crop planning, soil management, harvest execution, and building strong relationships across Charleston and beyond.

Andrea approaches agriculture as both enterprise and legacy. Under her leadership, Heritage Farm & Co. produces high-quality organic crops, heirloom varieties, and premium honey while serving as a platform for education, cultural connection, and economic opportunity. She is committed to regenerative practices, operational excellence, and building something that will last for generations.

When she’s not planning crops or packing orders, Andrea is outdoors with her dog, fishing, exploring the Lowcountry, and supporting local businesses often stopping by restaurants to see how chefs are bringing Heritage Farm & Co. vegetables to life.
